Wasanthi Stephen counts over 23 years of experience within the Human Resource Industry in Sri Lanka. During this period, she has gained extensive exposure to talent management, employee relations and handling of industrial disputes, mentoring and counselling employees, strategic HR planning, and learning and development across hospitality, real estate, telecommunication, manufacturing, financial services and insurance industries.
She’s accredited as Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
Prior to joining Janashakthi Group, Wasanthi served as Director of Human Resources for Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, as well as an Assistant Vice President at John Keells Holdings.
Wasanthi is a qualified Attorney-at-Law and has practiced as a Junior Counsel and an Instructing Attorney, as well as worked for Sri Lanka Telecom’s legal division prior to commencing her HR career.
She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Professional member of Association of HR Professionals, member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) USA, life member of Bar Association of Sri Lanka.
